Seafood Expo Global & Seafood Processing Global Annual Exhibition

Every year in Brussels – the capital of the European Union – the European Exhibition of seafood, equipment, technologies, and services for the processing of fish and seafood is held. Together, these two events constitute the world’s largest exhibition of seafood.

The European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe take place in Brussels. The Seafood Expo Global exhibition is designed for consumers of fish and seafood, while the Seafood Processing Global exhibition is designed for consumers of modern equipment, technologies, and services for the processing of fish and seafood. That is why two parallel exhibitions are a must-see event.

Seafood Processing Global offers equipment (processing, refrigeration, freezing); services (quality control, finance, computers, information technology, logistics); packaging (transportation, storage, packaging equipment).

Seafood Expo Global is fresh fish and seafood, canned food and frozen fish.

In addition to the demonstration of goods, the exhibition will be organized events that are useful and interesting for businessmen. For example, a competition for innovation, services for the organization of production and sales, information about the financial side of the issue, insurance, chartering and computer technology. In addition, you can get acquainted with various related products: packaging, spices, seasonings.

The 21st European seafood exposition and the 15th exhibition of processing technologies ESE / SPE-2013 began with stormy activities. Costume mermaids welcomed the participants and visitors, samples of all kinds of seafood were exhibited on the multi-story stands of exhibitors from all sides, and on the evening of the first day, the annual Prix d’Elite awards were presented.

1600 participants of the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe from more than 70 countries presented their products and services to 25,000 customers from more than 140 countries, including importers/exporters, brokers/traders, processors, fishing and fishery companies, wholesale, retail and catering companies and catering.

Among the top 10 types of products at ESE / SPE-2013 were frozen seafood, fresh seafood, aquaculture / farmed seafood, primary processing equipment, ready-made seafood, transport/logistics/warehouse, services, packaging materials and equipment, canned seafood and live seafood.

Seafood Expo Global / Seafood Processing Global 2014 occupied more than 35,000 square meters. m, registered more than 25,840 professional visitors from 150 countries. 1721 exhibitors from 77 countries presented their products and services. 75 countries were represented by national expositions, including Japan and Libya.

The 23rd Seafood Expo Global 2015 and the 17th Seafood Processing Global, previously known as the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Global, continued to grow. In 2016, more than 22,160 buyers and sellers from 143 countries of the world came to Brussels to familiarize themselves with the products and services of 1,664 exhibiting companies from 80 countries that occupied 35,862 square meters of exhibition space, including 73 national and regional pavilions. Finland, Russia, Scotland, and Uruguay were among the new pavilions presented at the exhibition; new companies came from Barbados, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda.

In 2016, Russian fishing and fish processing enterprises participated in a single national stand under the auspices of the Federal Agency for Fisheries. The 2018 exposition counted 1946 exhibiting companies – an increase of 87 companies from 78 countries. The event took more than 39322 square meters. m of exhibition space, or above last year’s record.
